Barak Pridor
Managing Partner
Barak Pridor serves as Managing Partner at Saban Ventures. Based in Tel Aviv, he leads the fund's venture and growth equity investments. Barak also serves on the boards of Snappy, floLive, Nexite, Mine ex.co, Applicaster and Lin Health. Prior to becoming an investor, Barak's career comprised of entrepreneurial and operating roles, ranging from building an early-stage company into a market leader, to a senior leadership role within a large, global corporation. This included serving as an Executive Vice President at Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) and CEO of ClearForest, which was acquired by TRI.
Barak earned an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University.
Gaby Cohen
Office Manager
Gaby joined Saban Ventures in December 2021. Gaby and her family recently made Aliya from Johannesburg, South Africa to Israel. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications public-relations, and sales. Gaby is loving learning about her new country, its people, cultures, and traditions and believes that with a positive attitude and a good energy, anything can be accomplished.
Saban Ventures is looking for an Investment Associate to join our team in Tel Aviv.
The candidate should be a self-starter with a track record demonstrating excellence, uncompromising attention to detail, superior work ethic, an innate curiosity to learn, and a real passion for technology and people.
In this position you will have considerable freedom and responsibility as you work directly with the fund's General Partner gaining exposure to all aspects of the venture investment process.
You will be driving the development of new investment theses, market research, deal sourcing and due diligence and driving the fund's marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Superb English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.3+ years of experience in management consulting, tech startup corporate development, venture capital, private equity or investment banking.
- Experience in formulating and modelling complex problems, using quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- MBA is a plus
- An extended period of living outside of Israel is a plus
- Tech oriented work experience
- Relevant relationships and contacts in the technology industry and community.
- Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, to manage long-term projects.
